This morning in school assembly, our second master, Mr. Taylor, talked about the history of the world wars and why buying a poppy is so important. Therefore, today, I bought mine too!!
I put £5 in the box because I have decided to stop having tuck and so, I can use the money to do some more useful things!! I don't realise my £5 can ensure that a housebound or hospitalised person receives a friendship visit, according to its website (http://www.poppy.org.uk).
Well, if you have some extra money, why not use them to buy a poppy??
